This is where we ask you for money – at least we’re up front about it!
We have an ambitious fund-raising target of $5,000,000 and you know what? We don’t need any more than that. Once that goal is achieved we’ll be able to provide multiple scholarships every year just from the interest!
Every donation you make over $2 is tax deductible because The Pinnacle Foundation is registered as a charitable institution in NSW and was granted Deductible Gift Recipient status by the Australian Tax Office.
All donations are displayed and processed in Australian dollars though Pinnacle’s banking partner, Westpac.
We’ve made it really easy for you to donate to Pinnacle. How about setting up an easily affordable regular donation? For the cost of drink (or if you are feeling more generous a cheap meal out) you can make a real difference for one of our inspiring LGBTIQ scholarship recipients. Chances are you won’t even miss the few dollars.
Or if you prefer you can bless us with a single tax deductible donation for which we will be forever grateful.
Online we use GiveNow.com.au to securely process all donations. It will accept all major credit cards, keep you informed and provided a receipt! Givenow is a totally free service to Pinnacle, so all your donation makes it to us so we can help a young student. (Credit cards do attract the usual merchant fees, as with any credit card purchase you make)
We’ve made it really easy for you to give generously and donate through our banking partner Westpac in any of the following ways:

Cheques are a little old fashioned but we still love them! Send yours to:

And make sure you include a return address so we can provide you tax deductible receipt.
BIG Donations and Remembering Us in Your Will
Sure, we’ve made it easy to make bite-sized donations or regular contributions here, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want some really big ones too! For some of you, leaving an enduring legacy in this world is really important. Lots of people leave money or their estate to charities, good and not-so-good causes alike (such as the Salvos, or their pet Snookums). Just think about the amazing leap towards our $5m goal that a substantial bequest such as this could give Pinnacle! We’d really love to chat with you about this. We’re very open to your ideas, for example, creating a scholarship for a specific vocation or skill in your name. That way, every year, your legacy could be helping light the spark within, for one or maybe several inspirational LGBTIQ youth. Your scholarship could become hotly contested every year, and lead to some stunningly successful graduates in your chosen field (law, music or a trade?), whatever studies as long as it fits our criteria. And of course you’d be helping young LGBTIQs who might otherwise have never had this chance.
Just give Philip Comans a call on 0416 053 301 or email him at email@example.com to talk turkey. This is a really exciting way to do something worthwhile…..‘cos you can’t take it with you!
We’ll love you forever.

Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its “IP address,” and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer’s IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous.
We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when proceeding to make a donation. After completing the payment page, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to mintain our donation base.
When making a donation your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard. If you have any questions regarding our security policy, please contact us by email at
As a registered charity we are unable to return or refund any donations.
